Ruben Amorim reportedly named Victor Osimhen as his top transfer target.
Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim has reportedly named Victor Osimhen as his main transfer target for the January transfer window.
The Portuguese tactician was named Red Devils boss a few weeks ago and has had a lukewarm start. He is said to have given the club's hierarchy a list of demands, at the top of which is the Nigerian ace.

The details
Osimhen is possibly the biggest name on the transfer window, as his loan with Galatasaray is expected to be a temporary arrangement, as the Nigerian has dreams for bigger. His relationship with Napoli is also broken down to the point that there is no going back.
He has been linked with a number of top clubs, most prominently PSG and Chelsea. Pulse Sports reported recently that the French champions took a huge step towards signing the Nigerian lately.
However, the Red Devils have now entered the picture, as according to Spanish publication El Nacional, Amorim named him first in a list of three desired players handed to the club's leadership, Ntvspor reports.
Osimhen had a release clause of €75 million, a future Napoli do not want to negotiate on. The Red Devils are said to understand the clause and are willing to match it.
The other two names on Amorim's reported list are Barcelona's Ronald Araujo (defender) and Southampton's Tyler Dibling (winger).
Meanwhile, it was initially speculated that Amorim would compel United to go for Sporting's o-fire striker Viktor Gyokeres, whom he knows and trusts.
However, he stated in a presser that he will not make a move for the Swede in January. Should the Red Devils sign Osimhen, it is unlikely they go for Gyokeres at all.
