Borussia Dortmund star Jude Bellingham is set to complete his move to Real Madrid after the Bundesliga final game showdown
LaLiga giants Real Madrid are set for the final stage of talks with Borussia Dortmund to seal the transfer of English midfielder Jude Bellingham.
Real Madrid to seal Bellingham deal next week
Los Blancos have been on the verge of a transfer for Bellingham and are believed to have already agreed personal terms with the England international.
They have been unable to complete the transfer for Bellingham due to Dortmund’s run in the Bundesliga, with the Black and Yellow set to win a league title for the first time in 11 years if they can hold their nerve in the final game of the season.
Real Madrid believe it is essential to allow Bellingham and Dortmund to concentrate on wrapping up the Bundesliga title before they continue negotiations and will therefore wait until after the final match of the season which is this weekend.
Real Madrid close to Bellingham deal
Despite the delay in negotiations, Real Madrid are confident of sealing the transfer after warding off Liverpool’s and Manchester City’s approaches for the midfielder.
Real Madrid are believed to be ready to pay Dortmund’s asking price for Bellingham, and the England international is also keen on moving to the 14-time European champions.
A potential deal could be set for €100m plus add-ons, making Bellingham one of the most expensive signings in Real Madrid’s history.
Bellingham could leave Dortmund on a major high if BVB beat ninth-place Mainz at the Signal Iduna Park on Saturday.
