Rashford, who enjoyed a 30-goal campaign last season, was hauled off for the second game in a row during Tuesday's damning 3-2 defeat at home to Galatasaray in the Champions League, leaving them rock bottom of their group.
Ten Hag was asked about Rashford's form ahead of United's Premier League clash against Brentford this weekend.
"Now, he is a little bit struggling but it will pass because everyone knows the qualities," Ten Hag said.
"Everyone at the club backs him, the whole team supports him and believes in him, so I am sure with that confidence and belief with the team behind him this will change and this will pass.
"Strikers, when they don't score for a moment, they need one goal and then they step over. It will come, he is so experienced and he knows that as well. When he is doing the right things and the team is doing the right things, the momentum will come and he will be on fire."
