Paris Saint-Germain manager Christophe Galtier has attempted to explain the reason for his side's defeat to Lyon, citing the absence of key players despite Mbappe and Messi playing all 90 minutes.
PSG lost 1-0 to Lyon, blowing the Ligue 1 title race wide open and continuing their abysmal post-World Cup form.

Paris Saint-Germain suffered a 1-0 defeat at the Parc des Princes to Lyon after a 56th-minute Bradley Barcola strike.
It could have been two but for an Alexandre Lacazette penalty miss in the 39th minute of the game. His powerful strike crashed against the woodwork.
PSG came close to a late equaliser after a Mbappe strike came close to dropping in, but the game ended with Lyon being the victors.
What Galtier said
Christophe Galtier was speaking after the game when he gave what seemed like an excuse for his side's current form, which has seen them lose back-to-back league games.
He explained that PSG were missing key players, suggesting that their absence has had a detrimental effect on his team.
Galtier “We also need to wait for certain key players to come back,” per GFFN.
