After his contract with Tusker FC expired, Harambee Stars winger Eric Zakayo is exploring new opportunities while open to renewal talks.

Eric Zakayo has officially entered the transfer market as a free agent following the expiration of his contract with Tusker FC.

With his deal having ended on June 30, Zakayo is now eligible to negotiate with other clubs stirring interest both domestically and internationally.

The talented winger, who played a crucial role in Tusker's successful title campaign in 2021, is now exploring opportunities to continue his career elsewhere.

"I'm now a free agent, with renewal talks at Tusker yet to be initiated. I'm open to offers from home and abroad, as my performance and statistics speak for themselves," Zakayo told Pulse Sports.

The youngster's eagerness to explore new opportunities signals a potential shift in his career trajectory.

The winger made his international debut for the Harambee Stars in October 2021 during a 5-0 defeat against Mali in a 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier.

Tusker had previously extended Zakayo's contract in July 2022 thwarting attempts by Bandari, Nairobi City Stars and UAE side Al-Orooba to acquire him under the Bosman rule.

Now, as his contract has run its course, Zakayo is considering his next move though he remains open to negotiations with the Ruaraka-based side.

"I'm willing to sit down at the table with Tusker and discuss a new deal if the opportunity arises," he added.

Having been with Tusker for nearly six years Zakayo's potential departure is a significant moment for both the player and the club.

His contributions on the field have been noteworthy and his experience and talent make him an attractive prospect for potential suitors.
