Mohamed Salah made history as three of the EPL's big six got off to a win on the opening day.

The first game week of the 24/25 Premier League has seen three of the big six teams dominate their games and come out victorious.

The game week began with Manchester United at home to Fulham. Everyone expected Manchester United to win, which they did but their goal came late in the match thanks to their new signing Joshua Zirkzee.

Manchester United had the best chances with Bruno Fernandes but he could not find the net ultimately returning only three points for FPL gaffers. Zirkzee on the other hand had seven.

Liverpool also got their first win. A continuation of their first league game dominance with Mohamed Salah rewarding managers with a goal and an assist.

This is now the 12th season Liverpool have gone without defeat on the first day of the league. Salah has the record for the most goal on the first matchday in the Premier League (9). A prolific striker indeed. Diogo Jota scored their first, assisted by Salah. Both have a combined 19 points.

Arsenal also got their first win of the season with a comfortable 2-0 victory over Wolves. Bukayo Saka (10) and Kai Havertz (10) both scored and assisted one another to give their team a perfect start to the season.

Despite Fabian Schar being sent off, Newcastle were able to hold their nerve and defeat Southampton. Alexander Isak (5) who was highly-favoured to score in this match was the provider for Joelinton (8) who scored the winner.

Nottingham Forest's lead by Chris Wood was cancelled out by Antoine Sememnyo of Bournemouth.

The biggest win so far is Brighton's 3-0 win over Everton. Kaoru Mitoma, Danny Welbeck and Simon Adingra all scored to take Everton to the bottom of the league.

Chelsea are yet to play against Manchester City and Tottenham are to receive a welcome by Championship champions Leicester City.
