Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has offered fresh update on midfielders Rodri and new signing Ilkay Gundogan ahead of the weekend's clash against Ipswich.
Manchester City welcome newly-promoted Ipswich to the Etihad this weekend and question marks are hovering over several City players ahead of kick off.
Midfielder Rodri is yet to make an appearance since arriving from an extended break, only joining training this week.
New signing Ilkay Gundogan, who returned on a free transfer from Barcelona is also in contention to make his season debut.

Guardiola offers team news ahead of Ipswich clash
Speaking ahead of this weekend's clash, Guardiola said:
"He's getting better... Maybe today he'll make partial training. But still, he's not good... I don't think so (for the weekend) but we'll see today.
We have training today at 3PM and we'll see..."
As for Gundogan, the city boss was more positive; "He still needs to sign a paper but if we need him to play, he is ready."
