Several Premier League clubs are reportedly weighing up the option of bringing Ghana forward Andre Ayew back to England
Ghana International Andre Ayew is attracting attention from Premier League clubs ahead of the close of the January transfer window.
Ayew could be heading back to the Premier League
According to a report from 90min, West Ham, Bournemouth, Southampton, Everton and Nottingham Forest have all shown an interest in bringing Andre Ayew back to the Premier League.
The 33-year-old, who scored for Ghana against Portugal at the 2022 World Cup but also missed a crucial penalty against Uruguay, is a free agent after terminating his contract at Qatari side Al Sadd.
Ayew previously spent six years in England, in between two spells at Swansea was a relatively unsuccessful 18-month stint at West Ham. He also spent time at Turkish giants Fenerbahce before heading off to Qatar.
Big picture for Ayew
Ayew will certainly view a return to the Premier League as a step in the right direction and a chance to prove he can still cut it at the highest level.
As the January transfer window draws to a close, a number of sides could do with his experience as they look to strengthen their attacking options and potentially stave off the threat of relegation.
