Crystal Palace will be without their star player when they welcome Arsenal to Selhurst Park this weekend.
Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner has confirmed that midfielder Eberechi Eze will miss Saturday's Premier League clash against Arsenal at Selhurst Park.
Eze, played just 59 minutes in the Eagles' 3-2 Carabao Cup defeat to Arsenal on Wednesday, having struggled with a foot injury leading up to the match.
Glasner revealed that Eze's injury has not improved, and he will not be risked for the weekend's Premier League encounter.
"We have no one back yet, but we do have one more injury, so Ebs is unavailable," Glasner said.
The Palace boss explained that Eze's foot injury has been a lingering issue.
"He got a hit against Brighton on his foot. He played with quite a swollen foot at the Emirates and also took another knock there. So, he is not 100 per cent."
This will be good news for Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta as Eze is Palace' most dangerous player and an elite creator.
The Gunners will hope to take advantage of his absence as they look to cut the gap on Liverpool at the top of the table.
