Bayern in Must-Win Situation Despite Domestic Struggles

Despite trailing Bayer Leverkusen by a significant margin in the Bundesliga, Bayern Munich remain one of the favourites to conquer Europe.

After a narrow first-leg defeat to Lazio in the round of 16, they bounced back with a convincing 3-0 home victory.

Star striker Harry Kane was instrumental, scoring twice and bringing his Champions League tally to six goals in eight appearances.

Kane set to return to London

The England captain, fresh off scoring his 32nd Bundesliga goal (despite Bayern's shocking 3-2 loss to Heidenheim), will be a familiar foe for Arsenal fans.

His prolific spell at Tottenham Hotspur saw him bag 280 goals, with a staggering 14 goals scored in 19 meetings against the Gunners.

Injury Concerns for Bayern

Bayern's quest for European glory might be hampered by injuries. Leroy Sané (pelvic), Manuel Neuer (undisclosed), Kingsley Coman (undisclosed), and Aleksandar Pavlović (undisclosed) are all doubtful for the match.

Arsenal Aiming to Upset the Odds

Despite their historically poor record against Bayern in Europe (three consecutive 5-1 aggregate losses), Arsenal are in a confident mood under Mikel Arteta.

They currently sit atop the Premier League table after a convincing 3-0 win over Brighton.

Former Bayer Leverkusen star Kai Havertz is expected to spearhead Arsenal's attack on Tuesday.

Gabriel Jesus might be deployed on the wing or as a substitute, with Bukayo Saka returning from a minor injury to solidify the left flank. Jurrien Timber remains Arsenal's only injury concern.
