Both sides created chances in the others' final third but could not make them count.

Posta Rangers and KCB played an entertaining goalless draws as the FKF Premier League leaders failed to secure maximum points.

KCB’s first chance came in the 11th minute when Stephen Etyang flung in a cross to Francis Kahiro, but the resultant attempt sailed just wide.

In the 17th minute, Posta Rangers midfielder Jackson Macharia forced a good save from KCB’s Gabriel Andika when he got on the end of a cross.

KCB then had an attempt in the 19th minute when Derrick Otieno ran with the ball down the right flank before setting up Danson Namsaka who hit the bar.

Another opportunity would go begging for the bankers in the 30th minute when Francis Kahiro missed from a Stephen Etyang cutback.

Rangers’ Brian Musa would then force Andika to make yet another save when he attempted a shot from distance which kept the game tight.

In the 41st minute, Harit Mungai would be the next KCB player to hit the crossbar, underpinning how much pressure Posta Rangers were under.

Kahiro missed yet another chance created for him by Etyang when he shot the resultant ball wide, keeping the score level at the break.

Posta started the brighter of the two sides in the second half and should have gone in front in the 50th minute when Macharia found himself one-on-one with the keeper, before forcing the KCB captain to tip it wide.

Posta Rangers substitute Brian Otieno then became the fourth player to hit the crossbar on the afternoon, which left Andika breathing a heavy sigh of relief.

The game then became tight with the majority of play taking place in the middle third.

Levis Shivachi then made an attempt from the edge of the box in the 83rd minute after he managed to beat Herit Mungai before attempting a shot that sailed just wide of Andika’s net.

In the end, both sides would have to settle for a 0-0 draw.
