Kenya Police leapfrog AFC Leopards to fifth on the log.

On a warm Wednesday afternoon at the Police Sacco Stadium, Kenya Police FC continued to pile misery on Nairobi City Stars' woeful form, with a rampant 4-2 win.

Police opened the scoring in the 13th minute when midfielder Marvin Nabwire capitalized on a mix-up between City Stars' keeper Jacob Osano and his defenders.

Their lead would be cut short five minutes later, as Police keeper Job Ochieng' conceded a penalty, which Vincent Owino of City Stars expertly took advantage of.

The Law Enforcers had the chance to go ahead again in the 23rd minute when a smart delivery by Duke Abuya found Mangeni, but he blazed it over the bar.

In the 29th minute, City Stars carelessly turned over possession in midfield, but Abuya could not take advantage, shooting straight into the arms of Osano.

Towards the end of the break, a dangerous cross by Mang'eni found David Simiyu, but the forward headed it wide.

Police came into the second half like a pack of hungry lions ready to ruthlessly maul their hunters. Early into the second half, substitute Elvis Rupia continued his fine goalscoring form, capitalizing on a chance to put the Law Enforcers 2-1 up.

City Stars' misery went from bad to worse, as Clifton Miheso's left-footed strike from outside the box in the 63rd minute proved too much for a helpless Osano.

Just a few minutes later, Stars conceded a penalty of their own, which Rupia converted to make it four.

Veteran forward Ezekiel Odera netted in the second minute of stoppage time to put some respect on the score line for City Stars.

The result now means City Stars continue languishing in the relegation playoffs, as Police leapfrog Leopards into fifth place with a game in hand.
