FUFA Big League side Police FC has sent out three players on loan as squad shaping for the 2023/24 season continues.
The Cops have loaned winger Dan Juma Aliyu Ahmed, Isaac Kiberu and Kiyingi Murushid. Both Kiberu and Danjuma will spend the upcoming season at Big League newbies Kiyinda Boys while Kiyingi will play for Buhinga FC.
According to Police FC PRO Bakari Mugah Bashir, the trio are expected to get more playing time at the respective teams as they are still in the future plans of The Cops.
Aliyu and Kiberu were part of Police FC that narrowly failed to gain top flight promotion while Kiyingi didn't secure his license.
Meanwhile, Police have confirmed the appointment of 2022 Masaaza Cup winning coach Simon Peter Mugerwa as their head coach for the new season.
Mugerwa brings on board a new technical team which includes Robert Sekweyama as deputy coach, Nestroy Kizito in first assistant role, Lwanga Ben Kalama as goal keeping coach while Fazil Ibrahim maintains his stay as the fitness coach.
Police FC start off the 2023/24 season against Young Elephants at Kavumba Recreational Grounds, September 25.
