Kenya Police FC CEO Chris Oguso believes the Hussein Mohammed-led FKF will transform Kenyan football by uplifting and nurturing grassroots talent.
Kenya Police FC Chief Executive Officer Chris Oguso has thrown his weight behind the new FKF leadership in the hope that it will elevate the football standards in the country.
According to Oguso, the Hussein Mohammed-led FKF is well-equipped to steer the country towards the right direction as opposed to the previous administration.

“We are very happy with this change in football leadership. You know, if you have been president for eight years, it is good that for the next few years we get different leadership. That is what has happened with Hussein Mohammed coming in with his fresh team. We have faith in him to bring about change,” Oguso told Citizen Digital.
"People have high hopes for these leaders, but we are asking for transparency,” he added.

Governance issues and the stagnation of grassroots development are some of the critical issues the country expects Mohammed to address and Oguso’s remarks reflect a broader optimism among stakeholders.
“To be honest, we at Police FC were very tired of the former office. Now, we are very happy to see Hussein come in with his deputy [McDondald] Mariga, and we wish them all the best," Oguso pointed out.
Oguso spoke during his annual football tournament in Western Kenya, which serves as a platform to scout grassroots talent.
