The Napoli boss received a touchline ban after his latest antics in the Partenopei's win over AC Milan

Antonio Conte, who previously coached Napoli striker Victor Osimhen, has been handed a one-match suspension in Serie A.

The Italian manager picked up his fifth yellow card of the season during Napoli’s 2-1 victory over AC Milan, leading to an automatic ban.

Conte joins Inzaghi and Barella on Serie A suspension list

After a weekend of intense football, Napoli’s Conte isn’t the only high-profile figure to face disciplinary action this week.

Inter Milan boss Simone Inzaghi has also been suspended for one game after being sent off in his team’s 2-1 win over Udinese.

The Inter coach, who had already received a yellow card, was dismissed for angrily confronting match officials and has been fined €5,000.

Meanwhile, Inter midfielder Nicolo Barella will also miss the next game after accumulating his fifth booking of the season.

Serie A clubs fined as discipline issues mount

Apart from individual suspensions, Serie A has also issued fines to some of its biggest clubs due to disciplinary issues.

Juventus and AC Milan have both been fined €10,000 for misconduct, with Juventus penalised after fans pointed lasers at referees, while Milan were fined for delaying the start and restart of their match.

With suspensions and fines mounting, Serie A’s disciplinary issues are under heavy scrutiny as the season enters its final stretch.
