Osimhen has explained how Origi and ex-Bayern striker Mario Gomez shaped him to become the striker he is now.
Victor Osimhen has expressed his gratitude to two Champions League winning strikers, Mario Gomez and Divock Origi for helping to shape him into the striker he is today.
Osimhen was teammates with both forwards during his time at Wolfsburg when he was still a budding youngster having signed for the Bundesliga outfit after dominating the 2015 u17 World Cup.
He did not have a good time at the club as he was not breaking into the team, but he was quick to look on the bright side of the situation.

FOOTBALL Emmanuel Adebayor cautious his birthday has been jinxing Arsenal’s title chances in previous years
Adebayor shed light on why Arsenal always tend to collapse in the race for the title from mid-february, expressing caution his birthday could have something to do with it.
“Whatever bad things happened there, I take full responsibility for it. It was my decision to go to Wolfsburg, to try to improve, because I knew that I was still a work in progress after the World Cup in Chile.
“I had Mario Gómez there, Divock Origi too. I had to learn from these people.
The Super Eagles forward spoke in glowing terms about Gomez to Sport1, in an earlier interview saying, “I look back on a special experience [at Wolfsburg] because I played with Mario Gomez. I was happy to watch him and copied a lot from him.
“He guided me when he was there and gave me valuable tips. I am very happy that I had him by my side in Wolfsburg in my first year in Europe. He really helped me a lot. I am eternally grateful to him for that.”

STARS ABROAD Kenyan striker on cloud nine as minnows Maidstone dump Ipswich out of FA Cup
The forward's Maidstone pulled yet another upset as they dumped Ipswich United out of the FA Cup.
The forward has also opened up on his experience playing for Belgian outfit Charleroi, an experience he says changed his career forever after being rejected by two Belgian clubs.
“ I was rejected by two clubs in Belgium before I had the opportunity to sign for Charleroi on loan.
“It was my move to Belgium, to Charleroi [in 2018], that was the turning point in my life. I owe my success to the president of the club, and the people of Charleroi that put their love and trust in a 19-year-old boy trying to establish himself.”
