Nigeria seek more wins in preparation for World Cup
Nigeria took part in the Revelation Cup last month, where they lost 1-0 to Mexico before beating Costa Rica by the same scoreline.
The Super Falcons will now look to raise their level as they prepare for the World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.
Having only made it out of the group once since 1991, the Super Falcons will look to match that record at least in this year’s tournament.
However, Nigeria have been placed in a difficult group alongside co-host Australia, Olympic champions Canada, and the Republic of Ireland.
The FIFA Women’s World Cup kicks off on July 20 and runs until August 2023. The Super Falcons kick off their campaign a day later against Canada.
