Vihiga Bullets coach Milton Kidiga is hopeful that the club will retain its Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) status this season.
The Bullets' form has been poor, and they are currently sitting at the bottom of the log with eight points from 22 league matches.

A second-half goal was enough for the struggling side to collect three points on home soil.
But Kidiga has kept hope despite his team's uninspiring form this season and still believes that they will manage to escape relegation.
"As a team, we do not want to be relegated because it will be painful. We must work hard because the range between us and the unit above us is enormous.
The only way to close that gap is to win all the remaining home matches and make sure that we get points in the away matches," he said.
Bullets have been facing challenges in the top-flight league since their 2020/21 season promotion from the National Super League, which to a great extent, has affected their performance.
So far, they had dished two walkovers, with the latest coming five days ago when they failed to honour a home fixture against Nzoia Sugar, two months after failing to do so against Sofapaka.
"We were ready for the Nzoia match, but financial constraints hindered us from honouring the match. Still, we are facing challenges, but I am happy that our patron is trying to do all he can to support us, but it has not been easy," Kidiga added.
