BUL and Gaddafi stretched their winless run into April as Onduparaka and Busoga United stepped their fight to survival relegation in the Startimes Uganda Premier League.
BUL's fortunes in the Startimes Uganda Premier League this season continued to dwindle as the team succumbed to a 2-0 loss to Onduparaka in Arua on Tuesday.
The Jinja side had hoped to build on their Uganda Cup triumph last season but their run since the year started has seen them drop in the pecking order, piling more pressure on the new interim coach Simeone Masaba.
John Rogers Okumu scored on either half to give the Caterpillars their second consecutive victory at home taking their tally to 13 points, six behind Busoga United.
BUL remain third with 30 points but the gap with the leaders SC Villa widens to ten.
Busoga hit century
In Jinja, a ten-man Busoga United forced a goalless draw against their Jinja City rivals at Kakindu to step up their fight for survival.
Defender Herbert Onyango was shown marching orders after two bookable clumsy fouls in the 26th and 38 minutes in a match that had not mich to write about.
Busoga looked the better side in the better parts of the game but their blunt attack was culpable on the day.
Their former golden boy Joel Madondo almost broke their hearts shortly after coming on for Johnson Odong in the 65th minute but his strike was, wrongly,
cancelled for an offside by the assistant referee.
Gaddafi remained 9th on the table with 25 points, six more than their Kakindu mates who occupy the last spot in the safety zones.
The game marked Busoga United's 100th game in the topflight.
