Jamaica’s kits split opinions
Adidas have kept things pretty traditional with a classic yellow body and green sleeves for the new home strip, while the away number takes things in a more adventurous direction with a funky black design accented by a striking yellow and green stripe.
But the real head-turner is that eye-catching pre-match jersey, which combines striking green and yellow detailing - certainly not your run-of-the-mill warm-up clobber!
As you'd expect, it's all kicked off a serious buzz on the socials, with opinion well and truly split over Adidas' latest Usain Bolt’s Jamaica line. Here's a flavour of what's being said;
"This is fire man. Looks like Ghana Ankara jersey" - The ultimate compliment or the ultimate insult? You decide!
"These kits never disappoint" - High praise indeed from one happy camper.
"Their colour combo is just so perfect" - Another fan lapping up Jamaica's fresh clobber.
Not everyone's been convinced though, with more than a few critics questioning whether these are strips fit for the football field:
"Jamaica should leave football and stay with athletics (running). There look like athlete's kits. Is it for the Olympics or football?"
"These ones should just focus with smoking weed and leave matters football" - Ouch, tell us how you really feel!
Love them or hate them, you can't accuse Adidas of playing it safe with their latest Jamaica designs ahead of those massive World Cup qualifiers.
Whether the Reggae Boyz' and Girlz' performances on the pitch live up to their eye-catching clobber remains to be seen - but one thing's for sure, they'll be the most stylish side in CONCACAF!
