The Abana Abeingo head coach has attributed his side's recent decline to the hangover felt due to congested fixtures.
Kakamega Homeboyz coach Patrick Odhiambo has admitted that tiredness is catching up with his players with just 23 games into the 2022/2023 Football Kenya Federation Premier League season.
The Abana Abeingo, who finished second last season, have struggled in recent games, and their Sunday’s defeat to Bandari only further confirmed the hangover that the players are experiencing.

“Consistency is lacking in the team as most players are young and are not used to congested fixtures. The more they play, the more they dip in form, which is so worrying.
For example, when you analyze the two past matches, you will notice that their performance could have been more impressive individually. But again, if I bring new players, our performance comes at a risk.
We need to go back to the drawing board and work on many things, and one of them is to balance work and rest,” he explained.
