The Muhoroni-based side are currently on a 20-game winless run.

Wazito FC head coach Charles Odera believes that his team can still survive the jaws of relegation if they can start turning good performances into positive results.

Against Tusker, a game in which the Muhoroni-based outfit produced a rather spirited performance, Odera said that it would only be a matter of time before they would start producing good results.

“I believe that we can still survive relegation,” he said, “ I have good players. If you look at the way we have been playing, we have just been unlucky not to produce great results,” he added.

“There are nine matches left this season. Some are at home. At this moment, we have to fully take advantage of that.”

The former APs Bomet tactician has also challenged his team to show more fight if they are to survive the monumental challenge.

“This is my team. My players and the managers believe in me. We cannot quit. I do not want that kind of attitude towards the end of the season where people give up!”

Wazito have been on a bad run of form this season, winning none of their last 20 league games, which keeps them in 17th place on 13 points.
