And much as he appreciates Vipers, he still needs to be convinced of how they play.
Results are the most critical aspect of sports; therefore, it does not matter how you do it as long as you win.
However, there is a recent trend, particularly in modern football, where philosophies and play styles are also crucial.

UGANDA PREMIER LEAGUE [Watch]Vipers return to winning ways after dominant victory over URA
A goal in either half from Erick Kambale and Abdu Lumala handed three valuable points, to ascend to second on the log with 17 points
Coaches, fans, and the management of some clubs want their teams to win games but also play in a certain way.

So far, he has been in charge of two games where the Tax Collectors have drawn against Kitara FC and lost to Vipers SC.

'I don't want to play street football' - David Obua on building a new style at URA
However, while the results could be more pleasing, Obua is not worried as he is building a certain style that will rub URA players for future results and development.
Obua is trying to impose his modern style of play at the Lugazi-based outfit.
And much as he appreciates Vipers, he still needs to be convinced of how they play.
“I want to thank Vipers for the organization, and it was great to come here and see the keys involved in supporting both the home and visiting teams,” Obua said in the aftermath of URA’s 2-0 defeat to Vipers at Kitende on Thursday.
“But I want us to play more football, and you are the champions, I know, and football is all about winning, but let’s win with a certain style of play.”
“I congratulate you for winning the game, but you got two chances, a giveaway, and you won, and that is football. I accept it because I usually learn more from my losses,” he added.

And, despite being home, Obua was left pleased with his team's display and how fast they're gelling with his tactics.
Erick Kambale and Abdu Lumala scored for the Venoms in the eighth and 52nd minutes, respectively.
URA goalkeeper Denis Otim could not deal with Kambale’s effort from outside the box, while Lumala intercepted defender Najib Fesali’s back pass.
