One-time Uganda Cup winner BUL Football Club have finally unveiled Abbey Bogere Kikomeko as their new head coach.
The tactician will be at the club, at least for the next three years, till June 2026.
Having joined in as Simeone Masaba's successor, the tactician has laid firm his plans for the Oil Manufacturers, among which, nurturing young talent.
"I'm interested in young players and I interest myself in developing them," Kikomeko told the media during his unveiling on Tuesday at the club's headquarters in Masese.
"With the help of the (rest of the) technical team and other staff, I'll be able to succeed at these targets."
He further highlighted on what a giant of a club BUL is, and that he must deliver to meet the standards.
"BUL is a big club, with a big name, it has achieved a lot so I'm not here for fun but to perform."
"The load is very big but we have to perform," Kikomeko noted about the expectations at the club.
The coach comes in off the back of success with Mbale Heroes, having guided them to the FUFA Big League.
Previously, he has had head coaching roles with Kirinya Jinja SSS and Busoga United.
