There was drama in Group A in the NPFL featuring Remo Stars and Gombe United while Bendel Insurance remained invincible.
NPFL witnessed a dramatic evening across the country with Remo Stars against Gombe United at the centre of it all in Ikenne.
The game between the two teams was abandoned at halftime with nothing to separate both teams following a 0-0 scoreline.
Remo were down to ten men at the break following the dismissal of Dayo Ojo just before the break but things quickly went awry when officials failed to show up for the second half.
“The match officials have decided not to come out of the tunnel for the second half with reasons best known to them,” the Ikenne side stated in a statement on their social media.
