The 2023 regular season is presumptuously expected to be concluded on Sunday, May 14, with the top 3 teams from the league's two groups, proceeding to a Super 6 playoff.

With the 2023 regular season of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) coming to an end, the Interim Management Committee (IMC), the body responsible for the league's structure have promised a smooth end to cap all gains that have been made so far.

After 17 match weeks, the 2023 regular season is presumptuously expected to be concluded on Sunday, May 14, with the top three teams from the league's two groups, vying for the title and qualification places to the CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup.

Possible desperation from clubs to be extinguished, IMC says

According to Davidson Owumi, the IMC's Head of Operations, the interim body are looking forward to ending the season on a high.
