As the GOAT debate rages on, Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold clearly feels Messi has the edge.
Speaking to TalkSport via AlbicelesteTalk, Trent said:
"Nothing else needs to be said about Messi, the best player ever.
"As he’s getting older, it’s still magic to watch him. He’s something that I don’t think I’ll ever see again. I’m just trying to enjoy every minute watching him.”
Messi, who now stars for Inter Miami, will be looking to bow out on a high when he leads Argentina to the Copa America this summer.
