KCCA are in a three-way title race with table leaders Vipers and third-placed SC Villa and cannot afford to drop any more points.
KCCA FC’s penultimate match of the Startimes Uganda Premier League is a visit to Jinja, where relegation-threatened Busoga United await.
The two sides will lock horns with two different goals; KCCA want the league title while maintaining their top-flight status is the immediate concern for the hosts.
The visitors are in a three-way title race with table leaders Vipers and third-placed SC Villa and cannot afford to drop any more points.
In the pre-match press conference held Monday morning at the MTN Omondi Stadium, KCCA head coach Jackson Mayanja opined that Busoga plays attractive football and will be no pushover for his side in search of the three points.
“I want to emphasize the fact that KCCA wants to win the league title,” Mayanja said in the pre-match press conference at MTN Omondi Stadium on Monday.
The former KCCA and Uganda Cranes player is returning from a two-game suspension, and while he was away, his side fluffed the opportunity to go two points clear at the top.

UPL Returning Jackson Mayanja expects tough encounter against Busoga United
Table leaders Vipers, KCCA and Villa are all tied on 49 points but separated by goal difference.
A goalless draw with Express and a 1-0 win over BUL in his absence are the results Mayanja must build on to beat table leaders Vipers and third-placed Villa to the title.
“We want the trophy. As a professional coach, you can’t count yourself out at this moment,” he added.
“We want to win tomorrow’s game and pray that our rivals drop points.
“Busoga are looking to survive, so it will not be an easy game. We have to go believing that we can get three points.”
Busoga are just above the relegation zone, in 13th place and on 27 points, four above Blacks Power with two games to play.

UGANDA CUP Isabirye finally seeing significant improvements at Vipers
Vipers SC assumed a huge semi-final first-leg advantage in the Uganda Cup after thrashing Soltilo Bright Stars FC 4-0 at the St Mary's Stadium, Kitende, on Saturday.
Busoga sent out a message of intent in their last outing, demolishing Arua Hill 4-1 in Arua to give their survival hopes a huge boost.
But their last two fixtures could not have been trickier. The two sides fighting for the title, Vipers and KCCA, are Busoga’s last opponents and need points to lift the trophy.
And Busoga know that victory over the Kasasiro Boys will confirm their league status for next season.
In a period where strikers are struggling to find the back of the net, Mayanja will continue to count on players like Allan Okello and Rogers Mato.
Okello’s penalty won maximum points against BUL last time out to arrest a goal drought that had lasted two matches.
