The WAFA League will kick off on 5th June, across five zones in the country.
The organizers of the WAFA League have announced a kick-off date for the 2023 preseason.
The chairman of the league, Olajide Royal, confirmed to Pulse Sports that the preseason will kick off on June 5 across five zones in the country.
Royal added that, "the reason for this preseason is to get our teams and players ready for the main league season, which will kick off on June 5 across five zones in the country."
About WAFA League
WAFA League is a Developmental Grassroots Women Football League for the purpose of developing and giving a girl child hope through the game of football.
The League started in 2013 and it has been the source of player for the Women's Professional Football league clubs in Nigeria and also for the National teams U-17 and U-20.
The clubs in each zones have been unveiled, and the full list of Clubs that will participate in the WAFA preseason league;
