The Nigerian youngster was set for a move to Norway but turned it down over weather concerns.
Nigerian youngster Ibrahim Hafiz has rejected the chance to sign for a Norwegian club due to fears over the cold weather and potential loneliness.
Pulse Sports Nigeria reports that Hafiz and his representatives travelled to the Scandinavian nation last weekend to finalise a transfer.

However, the talented youngster had second thoughts about making the move after experiencing the extreme climate first-hand.
"It was challenging to persuade the player from Kano to stay as he struggled with the cold weather," a source close to Hafiz reportedly stated per a post on social media.
"Bodo/Glimt, located in northern Norway, had extreme weather conditions that made it difficult for him to live and play football," the source added.
Concerns over being isolated in such a remote location, far away from family and familiarity, also gave Hafiz pause for thought.
As a result, the 17-year-old opted against signing for the Norwegian side and has instead returned to his base in Italy where he featured in the prestigious Viareggio Cup.
His representatives are now exploring other potential options, including interest from Chelsea who had previously invited Hafiz for a trial.
The setback is minor for a player still regarded as one of the hottest prospects in African football following his exploits for Ojodu City at the Italian youth tournament.
Hafiz caught the eyes of European giants after he netted a remarkable 10 goals in just six matches at the Viareggio Cup.
His performance at the tournament saw talks of transfer moves to clubs like Inter Milan, FC Porto and AC Milan before Bodo looked to have won the race for his signature.
Hafiz inspired Ojodu City to the semifinal of the famous Italian youth tournament before they crashed out to eventual champions and fellow Nigerians, Beyond Limits.
