Almost all of Nico Williams' career has been spent at Athletic Club since he joined the club's youth program from hometown side CA Osasuna in 2013.
After starting at CD Pamplona and Osasuna, he moved to the Basque Country to join Bilbao's youth setup, featuring for the U18 and U19s before getting his first taste of professional football in the 2019-20 season at Basconia, the LaLiga side's feeder club since 1997.
