They will look to collect maximum points next Wednesday against Tusker at Ruaraka Stadium
Nairobi City Stars head coach Nicholas Muyoti admitted his side rode on luck during their largely disappointing goalless draw with Kakamega Homeboyz on Wednesday.
In a hard-fought encounter between two teams who were not at their best, it was Homeboyz who had the game's best opportunity late on when Felician Okanda hit the post before attempting a rebound which was cleared off the line by defender Edwin Buliba.

None of the sides could find the target after battling in a sunny atmosphere on Wednesday.
In a post-match interview, Muyoti lauded his charges for a good defensive display and hopes it will motivate them to work even harder in the coming matches.
"I thank God for that draw because Homeboyz were the better team today, and my boys tried hard and contained them. Congratulations to our opponent for that point and my players for squeezing a point.
Where we are on the log, we needed three points very much, but we didn't get them, and it means we have to continue working hard and get maximum points in the next match," the former Kenya international said.

Further debate has been raised following the unusual way in which Sharks’ two spot-kicks were taken during their win over Mathare United.
The draw left them in position 14th on the table, five points above the red zone with Mathare United, Wazito and Vihiga Bullets.
A win would have seen them move to the 12th spot, but Kakamega Homeboyz denied them that opportunity.
"We had a horrible first leg, and coming into the second leg, there is a considerable improvement, and a point gained for us is welcome.
As we move forward, we have to make sure we don't lose any matches and try as much as possible to win the matches ahead," he concluded.
