Yanga’s recently-appointed coach Sead Ramovic has admitted his team are under immense pressure to win their CAF Champions League match away to MC Alger after defeat last week.
Yanga coach Sead Ramovic accepts his side are under pressure to deliver a positive result on the continent ahead of their CAF Champions League match away to MC Alger on Saturday.
The Tanzanian champions face the Algerian side in a tough match (at 10pm East African time) and come into it following a 2-0 home loss to Al Hilal from Sudan, putting Ramovic under pressure.
The German coach joined Yanga last month to replace veteran Miguel Gamondi and it has not been smooth sailing with his side posting inconsistent results.

Gor Mahia’s CAF Champions League nemesis Percy Tau demands Ksh77 million from Al Ahly amid contract drama
Al Ahly's CAF Champions League hero against Gor Mahia, Percy Tau, reportedly demands Ksh 77 million amid contract termination standoff.
However, after dominating at home by winning the last three league titles, fans want continental glory and results like what was witnessed in Dar es Salaam are not welcome, hence the need to change the tide in Algeria.
“We are under pressure after losing the first game but it has given us the strength and motivation to prepare for this game,” Ramovic told TelecomAsiaSport.
“We cannot plan what the final result will be but we can plan how we will play to get a good result. I know we are playing a very tough team and playing under such pressure against them will be difficult.
“But we have a very experienced team and I know we can positively go through this period.”
Ramovic and his charges will, however, be encouraged to learn that Saturday’s opponents have not been on a good run which perhaps gives them a good chance of winning.
MC Alger recorded a goalless draw with TP Mazembe from DR Congo in their Champions League group opener and have only won once in their last five matches across all competitions.
