The Uganda coach will take over the reins at Bullets from Milton Kidiga who has been relegated to assistant coach role.
New Vihiga Bullets coach Louis Kizito is confident that his side won't be relegated at the end of the Football Kenya Federation Premier League season despite their miserable run.
Bullets, who have registered two wins this season, fell to a 4-0 defeat in the hands of Kenya Police in a mid-week match played on Wednesday at Bukhungu Stadium in Kakamega.
The defeat means the Bullets remain languishing at the bottom of the log after garnering eight points from 25 outings.
"Basically, the result has not been good because we lost 3-0 but the performance depends on how we usually played when I was following the team.
"I will try my best so that we can stay up, but it is a huge task, but even hard things are done. So we will stay up and kick from there next season," he said.
