Never! — Napoli president names the one club he won't sell Osimhen, even if they pay release clause

Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis commented on Victor Osimhen's future amid links to multiple clubs.

Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis is verbal about Victor Osimhen's future once again after he reacted angrily to the Nigerian’s refusal to leave Galatasaray in January.

The 26-year-old striker joined the Cim-Bom in the summer on a season-long loan after he failed to secure a transfer following the collapse of his relationship with the Napoli leadership.

Osimhen has excelled in his time in Turkey, but the loan move is coming to an end, and suitors are lining up to snap him up.

Despite Galatasaray’s keenness to sign Osimhen permanently, the former Lille man has a €75 million release clause, which might prove too much for the Turkish champions.

He has also been linked with a move to Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United and Juventus, with the latter two said to be the most likely to sign the Nigerian.

On a recent appearance on Radio Kiss Kiss, relayed by Calcio Mercato, De Laurentiis was asked about the possibility of Osimhen joining the Old Lady, and he absolutely ruled out the move, saying, "Never at Juventus,“ even if they pay the release clause.

Meanwhile, Galatasaray still believe they have a chance to keep the Nigerian permanently, despite being seemingly priced out.

Reports in Turkey claim the Cim-Bom can find a way to fund the deal but would need Osimhen to agree to delay his Premier League ambitions to stay at the club.

Galatasaray vice-president Abdullahi Kavoukcu said they are waiting on the Nigerian to communicate his decision to them, and they expect him to make the announcement this April.
