Uganda Premier League newly promoted side NEC FC have completed the signing of goalkeeper Ismael Maganda.
Maganda has been unveiled by the Bugolobi based outfit on a two-year employment contract, and will look to help the team have a resounding first ever campaign in the top-flight.

"Today, we warmly welcome Maganda Ismael to NEC FC where he'll undoubtedly add strength and depth to our goalkeeping department," a club statement said.
The custodian has witnessed a meteoric rise right from the bottom, from Econ Football Academy, Viva Lavie in the Fourth Division and Kitinda FC in the Buganda Regional League.
From Kitinda, he joined Proline in the 2021/22 season but it's the most recent campaign where he shined most, keeping seven clean-sheets in 11 matches.
He has become the sixth signing in the ongoing transfer window after Ronald Ogenga, Isaac Balyejusa, Sharif Lubega, John Paul Acire and Allan Mugalu.
