This will present the country with an opportunity to try and grab a maiden ticket to global competition.

Harambee Starlets have learned their U17 and U20 FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup qualifying opponents after a draw conducted by CAF on Thursday.

The U17 side will face the Democratic Republic in an away qualifier before hosting the return action.

The matches for the second round are expected to take place between February 2 and 4, and the return ties will be staged between February 9 and 11.

In the third round of qualifiers, the winner between Zambia and Tanzania will face off against the victor against Cameroon and Uganda, while Niger and Morocco take on the winners of the match between Algeria and Benin.

The third round of qualifiers will be played between May 10 and 12, with the return legs being set for May 17 and 19, 2024.

The final round has been scheduled for June 7 and 9 for the first legs before the second leg actions that will be held between June 14 and 16.

For the U20 qualifiers, Kenya will face Angola, as the first six nations with the lowest rankings will face off in a round-robin format between September 1 and 10.

The second qualifying round matches will take place between October 6 and 15, with the winners joining the third round of qualifiers scheduled between November 12 and 19, 2023.

The four countries that emerge from the next round will then face each other in a round-robin format to determine the two nations that will grab the African tickets to the World Cup.
