The midfielder-turned-right-back was kept out of action for one-and-a-half months but is hoping to be involved in the final three games.
Nairobi City Stars midfielder Rowland Makati is hoping to light up the Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) next season after seeing his 2022-23 campaign blighted by an injury.
Makati had been part of City Stars’ squad for the first 14 games of the season, getting nine starts, completing seven of them, before he suffered a setback on February 4 when he came out second best after a collision during their match with Gor Mahia at Kasarani Stadium.

The midfielder-turned-right-back was kept out of action for one-and-a-half months, returning to the squad on April 5 when Simba wa Nairobi took on KCB on matchday 22.
Coming from a long injury layoff, Makati has had to be patient as coach Nicholas Muyoti re-integrates him slowly back into the squad but he is hoping to play a vital part in the remaining three games to get in shape ahead of the next campaign.

“I only made my debut in the top league last season after featuring in the final two games. Those games built me up for this one and it was going on very well till that game in Kasarani.
