The German could now find himself managing in London even after declining overtures from the Blues.

Former Bayern Munich manager Julian Nagelsmann is tempted by the opportunity to manager Tottenham Hotspur.

Spurs are expected to name a new coach next season after parting company with Antonio Conte in the recent past.

The 35-year-old German is available following his exit from Bayern Munich. He left his position in charge of the Bavarians after an inconsistent run of results.

Instead of making an immediate appointment, the North London club chose to let Cristian Stellini – Conte’s then assistant – to take charge of the team until the end of the season.

Conte left his Spurs’ role after an extraordinary rant against the players and management following a 3-3 draw against Southampton.

Reports indicated Thomas Tuchel – who was appointed to take charge of Bayern – turned down an offer from Spurs.

Nagelsmann could be on his way to Tottenham after he turned down Chelsea’s approach. The German was among a few names that had been heavily mentioned as potential managers to succeed Graham Potter at Stamford Bridge.

Mauricio Pochettino, Vincent Kompany, and a mystery name are the remaining individuals now linked with the Stamford Bridge hotseat.

Should Nagelsmann move to London, Bayern are expected to welcome the idea, as they would be happy that it would allow them to stop paying his salary, while they could also demand a fee for their ex-manager.

Since Conte’s departure, Spurs have won just one of their last four games, and this leaves their top-four hopes hanging by a thread.
