The club has come out publicly to make its position on the matter known.
“We need to build on from our performance against Tusker. There is no need to make too many changes because we lost. Let us try and see if we will finish as high as possible, even if a fifth-place finish would go a long way in helping achieve that,” he said.
The former Bandari tactician had been rumored to quit in the aftermath of their match against Tusker, but he quashed those claims quickly, dismissing them as 'rumors'.

FKFPL Bernard Mwalala cagey over future at Ulinzi Stars
The former Bandari coach was set to quit the club citing unfavorable working conditions according to multiple reports.
Ulinzi currently sit eighth in the league standings with 44 points. They have won 11, drawn 11, and lost eight league fixtures since Mwalala took charge of the club last September.
They have registered a goal difference of just one, having scored 31 goals, but conceded 30. Mwalala led Kakamega Homeboyz to second place in the voided 2021-2022 season before being sacked after a dismal run of form in the latter stages of the season saw them surrender the league title to Tusker.
