FKFPL “I nearly lost my job”- Nicholas Muyoti praises City Stars board for sticking by him
City Stars went through a very tough season that culminated in the side performing much worse than the voided 2021/2022 season.
Muyoti revealed his confidence based on what he saw in the second half of the season but believes his team needs additions in critical areas in order to significantly improve.
“When you look into the future, you also have to look in the past, at what has happened and we have been conceding a lot of goals,” Muyoti said.

FKFPL Kamura reveals how chairman Shimanyula motivated Homeboyz to win maiden FKF Cup
Shimanyula has created a reputation for being bullish ahead of the club’s games against “giant” opposition, and Kamura explains how he motivated the side to the cup win.
"We need to work on the defense. We have conceded nine goals in our last three league matches which is not good enough because we are scoring goals to be fair.
“How are we defending? Do we have the players capable of doing that job? That is what we need to ask ourselves heading into the new season. We need to beef up by adding one or two players to make sure our defense is intact.

The strike marked the midfielder's second goal of the season and halted his team's six-game winless run.
“We have a solid team that can compete well with the big teams. My main concern is to address the defense issue and maybe one or two midfielders to come in and stabilize the team.”
The 46-year-old tactician guided the team to an impressive fifth-place finish in the now-voided 2021/2022 season, but most of the team was decimated in the close season, which left the team looking practically new with no cohesion at the start of the season.
