Murang’a Seals sealed a morale-boosting 1-0 win over Migori Youth in a National Super League match played on Wednesday at St Sebastian Park.
The goal that separated the rivals was scored by a second-half substitute, Erick Juma.

Seal were in fine form and came out of Mbaraki with a comfortable win over hosts Mombasa Elite.
Seal almost broke the deadlock in the ninth minute, but Tyson Kapchanga’s ferocious shot was stopped by Youth’s goalkeeper.
After a brilliant individual run, Wilson Kamau almost broke the deadlock in the 14th minute, but he was brought down at the edge of the box. The home side failed to make maximum use of the goal-scoring chance.
Another chance to grab the lead came in the 34th minute after John Kiplagat was fouled near the box. Just as was the case with the previous chance, Seal failed to capitalize on this one.
Seal made a change in the 45th minute when Kamau was withdrawn and Juma was brought on. The change proved vital, as Juma broke the deadlock at the hour mark.
The hosts held tight to the slim lead to claim all the points.
The win means Seal have closed in on Shabana at the top, as only three points separate them. Tore Bobe were not in action in the midweek.
Seal have also stretched their unbeaten run to 12 games as they chase promotion to the Premier League.

The Migori-based side kept alive their promotion hopes with a convincing victory over the visitors.
At Machakos High School, Darajani Gogo were denied three points after Mully’s Children Family (MCF) scored late in stoppage time to ensure the match ended in a 1-1 draw.
Darajani took a first-half lead when Rashid Moyo scored in the 36th minute.
The away side were almost celebrating a collection of three points before a late goal ensured the home side avoided a defeat.
