TRANSFERS KCCA FC's Rogers Mato on the brink of European move
According to several reports, Kampala City Council Authority Football Club forward Rogers Mato is on the verge of joining European paid ranks.
"The Mato Rogers move to Slovenia is simply not a good one in so many aspects like player development," Mujib Kasule, a director at Proline FC and a CAF instructor, told Pulse Sports.

FOOTBALL Winning mentality, commitment to define the Sergio Traguil era at KCCA FC
The Portuguese tactician who signed a two year deal with the 13 time Uganda Premier League champions revealed what and how he expects to execute his master plan at the club.
"But mostly, is the player going to learn and improve in this case in Slovenia? I don't think so," Kasule added.
Kasule, a former football agent, adds that what makes matters worse is that the Slovenian league is not known for anything in European football, making it difficult for any player, especially from Uganda, to succeed.
"Eastern Europe has proved to be very difficult for players; the conditions there are extremely tough, players go there and instead of improving their careers go down," Kasule lamented.

FOOTBALL Traguil aims to blend youth and experience, hopes to rely on the vibrant youth system at KCCA FC
The Portuguese tactician has emphasized the need for KCCA FC to have a well-organized youth structure that will be used as a supply chain for the first team; the target is to ensure both the first and Junior teams have the same methodology.
"Before you know it, they have disappeared off the game's surface, and the chances are higher for Mato to go there and continue with that trend."
"We don't know them for grooming players or having good structures; it's not a good league if someone was going to Belgium, France or Portugal, it makes sense, but not Slovenia," he added.
The Deal.
Pulse Sports reliably understands that the Slovenian side interested in signing Mato Rogers is NK Bravo, formed six years ago and is currently fourth in the league.
However, the Kasasiro boys' hierarchy hesitates to proceed with the deal.
