Mohammed Bajaber proved that he is not all hype when he tormented Posta Rangers before firing Kenya Police to a crucial league victory on Sunday.

Mohammed Bajaber has been on the minds and lips of Kenyan football fans following his heroics for Harambee Stars in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers and has translated that to his club.

Bajaber endeared himself to fans with his great goal against The Gambia, when he came on as a substitute, before he earned a place in the starting XI for the 2-1 loss to Gabon.

The playmaker returned to his club Kenya Police to some heroic welcome during the week and on matchday on Sunday, she showed why he is so highly rated.

Bajaber was the match winner for Kenya Police as he scored the lone goal in their FKF Premier League win over Posta Rangers.

The former Nairobi City Stars forward refiled the ball into the roof of the net just after the second half had started.

Bajaber was a thorn in the flesh for the Posta Rangers defence throughout the contest as he made a number of attacks while he showed his quality on the ball by taking on his markers with relative ease.

It was the third goal for Bajaber in five matches for Kenya Police, who he joined in the midseason transfer window from City Stars, for a reported Ksh1 million.

Victory sees Kenya Police stay top of the FKF Premier League table with 48 points from 25 matches, just one ahead of second-placed Tusker FC, in what is a tight title race that will likely go down to the wire.
