Bajaber, who capped off his cameo appearance against Gabon with a well-taken strike in the 3-3 draw, is only two months into his Police contract following his move from Nairobi City Stars.

Despite the burgeoning interest, Bajaber is focused on helping Police realise their ambition of winning the FKF Premier League title for the first-time ever.

"It is true that Yanga and Azam  made contact  but there is nothing concrete at the moment. A lot of teams have shown interest but Bajaber's focus is on helping his parent club achieve season objectives. Regardless a decision won't be made any time soon because the best time to make  is closer to or during the summer," a source that sought anonymity told Pulse Sports.

"The only thing on his agenda and the club's agenda is to win the league."

Bajeber is tipped to have a bright future with Harambee Stars after defying the odds to make the cut in the 23-man squad for the last international assignment.

Born and raised in Kenya, Mohammed Bajaber's passion for footbal was evident from a tender age. He honed his skill at Starfield academy. However, it was in 2021 that Bajaber gained the spotlight after attending trials at Danish top-tier side FC Midtjylland.

This proved to be the turning point in his development, as he made a giant leap to Nairobi City Stars in the Premier League, albeit on loan.

He earned his Premier League debut on May 15, 2022 in Ruaraka against Tusker, and earned his first start in Thika against AFC Leopards on June 6, 2022. He scored his maiden premiership goal against Wazito on March 16, 2023.

Bajaber scored another six goals for Nairobi City Stars in the 2023-24 FKF Premier League season. Bajaber scored four times for City Stars in the first leg of the 2024-25 season which earned him a move to Kenya Police FC in February 2025.
