Super Eagles forward Terem Moffi could be set to link up with his former manager at Lorient as Nice look to bring Regis Le Bris to the Allianz Riviera
Super Eagles forward Terem Moffi is set to be reunited with a former manager as current side Nice ditch the chase for ex-Chelsea coach Graham Potter.
Moffi to reunite with Le Bris at Nice
The Ligue 1 side is rumoured to be set to hire current Lorient manager Regis Le Bris who managed Moffi while he played for Les Tangos et Noirs earlier this season before moving to Nice.
Le Bris got the best out of Moffi, as he helped the striker score 12 goals in the opening 18 games of the season before he made a move to Nice in the winter transfer market.
The two could be set to link up again at Nice as Les Aglions look to replace outgoing manager Didier Digard.
Le Bris favourite to land Nice job
Digard left the team at the end of the 2022/23 season, leaving the French side in the market for a new manager ahead of the 2023/24 season.
Nice owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe had been keen on signing freshly departed Chelsea manager Potter for the role, but Director of Sport Dave Brailsford was opposed to the signing, in favour of Le Bris.
With Potter unwilling to move to Nice, they have now turned to Le Bris and reportedly agreed to personal terms with the French manager.
They will now need to agree on a transfer with Lorient but might have to pay a lot of money as Le Bris recently signed with the club to stay until 2027.
