Football Kenya Federation (FKF) is not just celebrating the great support Harambee Stars have received from fans but also a major cash boost.
Harambee Stars are set to play at a sold-out Nyayo National Stadium when they face Gabon in their 2026 World Cup qualifier on Sunday March 23 after fans heeded the call to snap up tickets for the game.
With tickets for the match being sold online, Kenyans were rallied to get them in time, as there would be no purchases at the gate, and they did not wait as by Saturday afternoon, they had been sold out.

FKF revealed that all the 100 VVIP tickets, which were retailing for Ksh10,000, sold out first before the 1,800 VIP tickets, each selling for Ksh1,000, followed.
Terrace tickets were going for Ksh300 each and were the next to be sold out with 21,000 of them made available to fans.
That means Ksh1 million was generated from the VVIP tickets, Ksh1.8 million from VIP tickets and Ksh6.3 million from the terrace tickets, bringing the total to Ksh9.1 million for the match.
