Benson Omala: How ex-Gor Mahia striker is coping with frustrating league suspension in war-torn Lebanon
Former Gor Mahia striker Benson Omala is currently not involved in any competitive action following the indefinite suspension of the Lebanese League but what is he up to and what are his options?
The accident involved a van and a public service vehicle with the former damaged on one side although the severity of the injuries suffered by the players is yet to be known.
It is not the kind of situation Migori would have wished to find themselves in given their poor start to the season where they have managed just one win in their opening six games.
The club sit 17th on the table on five points after losing three and drawing two matches with only Cost Stima, the bottom-placed team, on one point, worse off.
The injured players were rushed to a nearby hospital while it is not known if the unfortunate incident will have a bearing on Saturday’s match.
