“So far so good. #mjengo,” a beaming Olunga posted on social media, accompanying his post with a photo of the property.
Olunga is not new to real estate investment. He is known to have invested in property in Kenya and beyond and was a subject of a land dispute in 2023 when he sought legal redress after a real estate firm nearly conned him and his partner Ksh67 million.

"They have been consistently treating us with false promises, only to realise that they had advertised the property on social media sites and sold it to a third party,” Olunga, who also owns a mansion in his home county of Homa Bay, told The Standard at the time.
"Despite the demand to reimburse back our money or transfer the property to us, the company consistently started treating us to promises and counter promises without any action.”

The 30-year-old is currently the highest paid Kenyan player with his deal at Al Duhail reportedly earning him over Ksh6 million per week and he seems determined to secure his life after football given the huge investments.
