Following his fallout at Paris Saint Germain, World Cup winner Kylian Mbappe is set to make a hugely lucrative move to Saudi Arabian side Al Hilal, according to multiple reports.

Reports, including Sky Sports, have indicated that in Mbappe moving to the Saudi club, PSG will receive a world record transfer fee of $332 million (about Shs1.2 trillion).

However, the most amazing figures lie with how much the 24-year-old is set to earn should he accept a move to Al Hilal.

In a one-year proposed deal, Mbappe will earn in the region of a huge $770 million (about Shs2.8 trillion), making him the highest-paid athlete of all time in a year.

The prodigious annual fee translates into $58 monthly (about Shs211 billion) and $13 million a week (Shs47 billion)

Broken down further, Mbappe will earn about $2 million daily (Shs7.2b), $80,000 per hour (Shs.91m), $1331 a minute (Shs4.8m) and $22 (about Shs80,000) for every second of the day.

Multiple other reports, including CBS Soccer, have indicated that Mbappe would still make his dream move to Real Madrid in 2024, where he is set to earn around $178 million (Shs648 billion).

The sums involved are massively enormous that they could run a huge chunk of an economy of a third-world Sub-Saharan country

PSG, apparently expect Mbappe to depart the Parc des Princes rather than letting him move as a free agent at the end of his contract next year.
